I've never been to Nicolino's, but I've had 3 great meals delivered. Two of them were delivered by Mark, the owner. I had a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving, prime rib dinner on Christmas Eve, and a veal dinner the other night which I shared with a friend. There was enough for the 2 of us, and my guest loved it, too. Food has been delicious every time.

It was our first meal from Nicolinos and it was good but not great. We had spaghetti bolognese and were surprised that there was no marinara sauce... so, we were a bit disappointed with that. But, will probably try them again in the future.

In 1969 Papa Nicolino his wife Emilie and two son's Michael and Mark moved to Palm Springs and opened an Italian Deli and bakery. The Bakery and deli was named Nicolino and Sons. It was an overnight success with the first to serve the valley with Italian specialty breads and delicious Italian cold cuts. The valley's local residents along with Palm Springs celebrities, such as Frank Sinatra, Burt Lancaster, Natalie Wood, Robert Wagner, Sonny Bono, Pat Henry and the list goes on who enjoyed Papa Nicolino's fresh bakery items and deli. Papa Nicolino his wife and Michael moved and opened an Italian Restaurant in Lake Havasu AZ in 1985 and again became a success in that community. Papa Nicolino and Emilie are well and retired now in Arizona.
